On Sunday we took Alex to Mount Vernon. He has been with us all summer and was soon to go back to Iowa for school, he needed to see George's place.

This is a picture of a picture of the entryway...can you find the Bastille key? We gave Alex the full tour, but it was hot and I am stressing over Mom's surgery, job interview on Monday and flying Wednesday.
The interview went fine but I have not heard yes or no, I also got appointments with my Iowa dentist to get my crown done...oh boy! On Tuesday I kept busy sewing. It felt productive!
